Terms of service

The operator of the website and the entity providing services by electronic means is Aidvocates Group sp. z o.o., with its registered office in Katowice, Poland. The owner of the LEX SPORTIVA solution and of the rights to the product is Aidvocates, Inc. Full details of both entities are set out at the end of this document.

These terms are made available free of charge in a form that allows them to be obtained, reproduced and recorded — in accordance with Article 8(1)(2) of the Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of services by electronic means.

The website is an informational page presenting the LEX SPORTIVA solution — a tool for football clubs covering the analysis of contract provisions, a contract database with a view of expiries, a scouting and data module, and a sporting planning module.

The website provides no user accounts, conducts no sales, payments or subscriptions, and does not give access to the solution itself. Use of the website is free of charge.

LEX SPORTIVA is a verification, evidence and monitoring layer on top of FIFA TMS and the FIFA Clearing House. It is not a claim-filing platform and it has no direct integration with FIFA TMS.

• Making the website content available — performed by displaying the page in the user's browser.
• The contact form — allows an enquiry about a demonstration of the solution to be prepared and sent.

Providing data in the form is voluntary and its scope is limited to what is needed to answer the enquiry: full name, email address, club name, role and the content of the message. The form serves commercial contact only. Using the form does not constitute a contract and does not oblige either party to conclude one.

Technical requirements necessary for cooperation with the operator's IT system, stated in accordance with Article 8(3)(2)(a) of the Act on the provision of services by electronic means:

• A device with internet access.
• A current version of a web browser supporting HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.
• JavaScript enabled — without it the website may not display correctly.
• An active email address, if the user wishes to receive a reply to the enquiry.

Information on particular risks connected with the use of a service provided by electronic means, given in accordance with Article 6(1) of the Act on the provision of services by electronic means: use of the internet involves a risk related to malicious software and unauthorised access by third parties to data transmissions. The use of up-to-date security software is recommended.

In accordance with Article 8(3)(2)(b) of the Act on the provision of services by electronic means, the user is prohibited from supplying content of an unlawful character, in particular content infringing the rights of third parties, personal rights, business secrets or provisions of law. Sending offensive or misleading content and unsolicited commercial information is likewise prohibited.

The operator may leave an enquiry that breaches the above rules unanswered. Any action disrupting the operation of the website is prohibited, including attempts at unauthorised access and the automated generation of excessive traffic.

The complaints procedure is set out in accordance with Article 8(3)(4) of the Act on the provision of services by electronic means. Complaints concerning the operation of the website or the services provided by electronic means should be submitted to office@legaion.com.

• A complaint should contain details enabling contact and a description of the objections.
• The operator considers a complaint within 14 days of receiving it.
• The reply is sent to the email address from which the complaint was submitted, unless the complainant indicates another means of contact.
• If the details in the complaint are incomplete, the operator asks for them to be supplemented; the time limit then runs from the day of supplementation.

The rules for processing personal data, including data submitted through the contact form, are described in the privacy policy.

The rights to the LEX SPORTIVA solution, including its name and designations, belong to Aidvocates, Inc. The content and graphic elements of the website are legally protected; their use beyond the scope of permitted use requires the consent of the rights holder.

The operator may amend these terms, in particular where the scope of the website's functions or the law changes. The amended terms are published on the website with an indication of the date from which they apply. Use of the website after that date means that the amended content has been reviewed.

Polish law applies to the provision of services under these terms, in particular the Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of services by electronic means and the Civil Code. The choice of Polish law does not deprive a consumer of the protection resulting from the mandatory provisions of the law of their habitual residence.

Disputes are heard by the court having jurisdiction under Polish law. In relations with consumers, the jurisdiction of the court is determined in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure.
